Kings Ridge Golf Club, located in the upscale retirement
community 40 minutes west of Orlando from where it draws
its name, is a gentle, well-manicured par-70 golf course
that exists for those who play for sheer enjoyment of the
game. This area of Orlando is known for the rolling countryside
for which many new courses are now being developed. "Located
just across the highway from Legend's Golf and Country
Club, King's Ridge is a nicely placed for a tune up before
hitting the more challenging Legend's course - or a great
place to get your confidence back after some of the more
difficult courses."
While the course is not considered too difficult, there
are the occasional undulations and sloping fairways that
will cause you to think about shot placement rather than “bomb
and chip” approach. Measuring only 6183 from the
back tees, however, creates the perfect environment for
the average or beginning player, or for those who wish
to simply enjoy a leisurely round of golf on their next
trip to Orlando.
