Description:
We could start and end the description of Grand Cypress by
saying “45 holes designed by Jack Nicklaus.” But
that would do a disservice to the impeccable conditioning and
variety of play you will find at this fantastic resort. With
45 holes to choose from, players can put together 4 different
combinations to suit their game. The North-South Nines create
a tournament quality course –host to several LPGA events
over the years – that is truly a shot-makers course.

We could start and end the description of Grand Cypress by
saying “45 holes designed by Jack Nicklaus.” But
that would do a disservice to the impeccable conditioning and
variety of play you will find at this fantastic resort. With
irways join with shaggy hills and tough bunkers to
challenge the best of target golfers. Most approach shots will
have to carry over water so bring that extra sleeve of balls!
The East course is designed a bit more traditionally with
wooded fairways that go a little easier on those that don’t
quite play the Bear’s game. The beautiful setting is
strewn with great holes like the par-3 Fifth with an elevated
tee to an island green that is reminiscent of Sawgrass. The
New Course provides 18-holes modeled after the Old Course at
St. Andrews. There are not many places in Florida where you
will find 12-foot pot bunkers, stone walls, and Scottish “burns”.
The service at Grand Cypress is everything you would expect
for a four-diamond, four-star resort. With unlimited practice
balls, club storage and cleaning, and top of the line GPS systems
on the carts, the resort does everything in its power to help
you enjoy the game short of playing the course for you. Keep
in mind that the Grand Cypress is a stay and play facility
only (which keeps the number of players down and the pace of
play up), so let us help you take advantage of all aspects
of this resort.
