The Harmony Golf Preserve is a Johnny Miller “Signature Course” located in central Florida just 30 minutes from the major attractions. For those of you familiar with Miller designs, you would expect to play a difficult course with long carries, severe undulations on the greens, and fairways that force you to “hit it where you are looking.” However, this course shows a kinder side of the NBC analyst that provides an exceptional golf environment for all players

When developing the course, Miller took great care in protecting the natural wetlands that envelop the entire facility. He utilized over 11,000 acres of broad meadows, as well as two, 500-acre natural lakes that come into play on just about every hole. The result is a stunning combination of art and nature, providing you with a golf experience that is highly unique to the area. In fact, many have described this facility as one of the most beautiful in Florida.

The golf course measures over 7,400 yards from the back tees and carries a rating / slope of 76.1 / 136. Yes, it is long and can be very challenging; however, Miller offers some reprieve by providing five sets of tees for players to choose from. This course sits at the top of our “must play” list, and should definitely be included in your next golf trip to the Orlando area.
